We were all sad when it came time to for Mom and Dad to return to reality. I think that Alexis definitely felt that something was happening - clever, clever kid. The morning before going to the airport, all Lex wanted to do was cuddle with Grandma. I was more than a little jealous, since she is NOT a cuddler.
Oh, the power of grandparents... I have a feeling this is just the beginning... and, Lex is no idiot, I believe the saying is "wrapped around her little finger"... master manipulator at such a young age!
